’ AMENDS TO VICTIMS ALLIES’ "OBJECTIVE (10 a.m.) LONDON. Oct. 30. The Allies in preparing the Bulgarian armistice terms were actuated by a desire to see Bulgaria make amends for the suffering which her alliance with Germany inflicted on the Greek and Yugoslav peoples, but
it has not been their intention to burden the new Government so direly that its authority will be lessened and the country thrown into chaos, says The Times’ correspondent in Moscow. This would undoubtedly defeat the Allies’ main purpose, which is to enable Bulgaria to make its contribution to the rehabilitation of the Balkans.
