ADVANCE IN GREECE
BRITISH TAKE KOZHANI FOOD DISTRIBUTION (10 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 30. British troops in Greece captured Kozhani after a short engagement west of the town. The enemy offered stiff resistance but suffered casualties, and is now withdrawing northward. British patrols are maintaining contact. Two hundred caiques (small sailing craft! are already distributing food round the Greek coast. Sir David Whaley, a British Treasury expert, has arrived in Athens to assist the Greek Government to stabilise the currency.
