Convicted of Drunkenness
Pleading a u illy to having been found drunk in a public place, having been convicted on similar charges twice within six months, Herewini Ngaronoa, aged 40. labourer, was sentenced to seven days’ imprisonment by Mr. E. L. Walton, S.M.. in the Gisborne Magistrate’s Court to-day. On a charge of casting offensive matter in a public place, the accused was remanded until Wednesday.
