WAGES TAX—AII employers of labour are notified that severe penalties are provided for failure to deduct and account for. wages tax (2/6 in £) from all wages paid to permanent or casual employees, whether on a time, piece work, or contract basis. REGISTRATION FEE—AII male persons. 20 years of age or over, who are not exempt, are required to pay a quarterly instalment of 5/- witm one month from November 1. Those entitled to exemption must complete the exemption application form within seven days after the last day fqr payment.
