DISSOLUTION ORDER

FRENCH ARMED GROUPS (10 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 29. The French Government has ordered the dissolution of the “Patriotic Militia,” a Communist resistance movement which worked with the French Forces of the Interior. A French Government decree also outlaws all the remaining armed groups in France which have not affiliated with the army or police. Members of the groups are ordered to hand over their arms and report at Government training centres. The decree says: “The period of insurrection is over.”
