IN DESPATCHES
AUCKLAND OFFICER (P.A.) WELLINGTON. Jan. 7. The Minister of Defence, the Hon. F. Jones, has been advised by the Admiralty that His Majesty the King has approved the following New Year Mention in Despatches:— Temp. Lieutenant Thomas Keith Murdoch Markwick. R.N.Z.N.V.R., Auckland. Lieutenant Markwick joined the Royal New Zealand Navy as an ordinary seaman under Scheme B in December, 1940. and was commissioned in December.
