Twenty-seven members of the Maori Hal. la lion arrived at Waiparaliara on 'Wednesday afternoon, amongst whom was Corporal W. Teneti, who was recently awarded the O.C.M. Visitors to Tokomaru Bay last week were Private M. Pearson (Kilbiruie), W.A.A.C., Private 1\ Haig. W.A.A.F., Mr and Mrs. ,S. Tlaig, Tikitiki. Sir Apirana Ngata, Mr. and Mrs. Whangapii'ita, Mrs. H. Newton, Gis borne, and Mrs. Tenet!', Waipiro Bay, mother of Corporal Tcneti, D.C.M. Mrs. Jill Clarke hopes to go into camp at ,M! early date as a member of the' W.A'.A.C. —Sergeant H. Edmonds, Privates Charlie Chambers and Corporal Sid Kopun, on furlough, are the guests of their parents in Tokomaru Bay.—Miss L. Potae, Napier, during her vacation with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. K. Potae, celebrated her sixteenth birthday at her home, where her many friends gathered, She will bo accompanied back to Napier by Miss Nancy Mulligan, also of Napier, who is staying with her mother.
