COMMON TRAINING
FRENCH AND U.S. FORCES (British Official Wireless.) (9 a.m.) RUGBY, July 111 The Commnnder-in-Chief of the French Fighting Forces in West Africa and other sectors, General Jilin, visited the headquarters of the Fifth United States Army in order to discuss with Major-General Platt the possibilities of common training for the French and American forces. General Juin attended military tactics.
It was agreed that the American command should operate in the training of French units, which would be supplied with the most recent modern equipment from America.
