CONCRETE SHIPS
LAUNCHING IN U.S. WASHINGTON, July 16. At the launching of the first of three concrete ships built by McClosky and Company, at Florida, Rear-Admiral H. Vickery, deputy administrator of the United States War Shipping Administration, described the completion of the first modern concrete vessels as a milestone in the advance of engineering knowledge.
