OUTWITTING FEAR
“Inferiority and consequent failure is an outsize job in human effort. But with the growing scientific knowledge of mind and human personality it can be and is being overcome,” stated Herbert Sutcliffe, psychologist and international lecturer. “Fear,” he stated, “is man’s greatest enemy, because it distorts the .creative images that control man’s drive to achievement. “Inferiority is so common that it cripples 90 ™r cent of men and women in their business, social and home life. It dwarfs the power to do and to be. “Yet, the mind :.s so subtle and so sub-eonsciouslv biassed that we are inclined to blame other people, the Government, the weather, and even the stars and fate for our own shortcomings. “To remove the causes of fear, inferiority and conflicts is now a scientific possibility. Thus, self-develop-ment and self-reliance introduces clear thinking, good judgment and courageous leadership. These are qualities of personality urgently i inn/lil/l I V * * Herbert Sutcliffe delivers his first of two lectures on “Psychology" on Monday next at Le Grand Lounge at 8 p.m.*
