Starring Tyrone Power in the roaring title role, the filmisation of Edison Marshall's best seller "Benjamin Blake,” is replete with adventure and South Sen Islands romance. Regent.—Warner Bros, gripping, emotional drama, "The Great Lie,” will continue until Tuesday. It is splendidly acted, produced with artistry, and has fine dialogue. Although Bette Davis, the main actress In the film, has a strong part. Mary Aster is prominently east. The male lead in the film in played by George Brent, and Hattie McDaniel heads the supporting cast. “Escape.” starring Norma Shearer, Robert Taylor, and Conrad Veidt, will play a return session on Wednesday and Thursday. Majestic.—To-day a great happiness programme, headed by “Caught in the Draft, will be screened. The featured players are Bob Hope as an army recruit and Dorothy Lnmour as bis girl friend. r J he story deals with a man (Bob Hope) who. tries his best to avoid army training and his efforts to keep out of the army provide a sparkling picture. “Magic in Music” is a picture for music-lovers and features Allan Jones and Susanna Foster. ___
