VISIT TO PARLIAMENT
MR. JONES IN LONDON (Special Correspondent.) (9 a on.) LONDON, April 9. The New Zealand Minister of Defence, Mr. F. Jones, with the High Commissioner in London, Mr. W. J. Jordan, sat in the House of Commons gallery and heard the Foreign Secretary, Mr. Anthony Eden, making his statement on his visit to America. Mr. Jones afterwards met Mr. Eden, Mrs. Eden, Mr. J. B. Winant, Mr. Herbert Morrison, and Major Arthur Henderson. He will shortly be addressing the Empire Parliamentary Association, and will be a luncheon guest of the United Kingdom Government. Mr. Jones saw parts of bombed. London, and met Dr. W. P. Morrel, the New Zealand historian, formerly of Dunedin.
