FORCES PREPARING INVASION BY ALLIES PREMIER’S BROADCAST < British Official Wireless.) (11 a.m.) RUGBY, April 9. “The whole of the Norwegian people now- comprise jonc united front,” said the Prime Minister of Norway, M. Nygaardsvold, broadcasting from London. He said that the Norwegian navy and air forces were now in active service and the Norwegian army was preparing to play an important part during the reconquest of Norway. Speaking of the possible invasion iif Norway, he said it was vital to oiganise Norway’s comparatively small forces so that they could be of l lie greatest possible use_ and it therefore was particularly important to organise co-operation with Norway’s n I lies in advance. As soon as Norway was free again, he said, the Government would ask tho King’s leave to resign and he hoped, thereafter, a Government of unity would be formed, with the broadest possible basis.
