RETURNED SERVICEMEN Details of the conditions under which an allowance of 10 gallons of petrol is to be made to servicemen returned from overseas have been received by the Gisborne TLB.A., to \yhom local applications are to bo made. , Mr. A. IT. Miller, secretary oi the Gisborne If.S.A., staled to-day that the petrol was granted solely for personal and private use by the applicant, and if tlie applicant did not own the car to he used the owner must sign a declaration that his car was being loaned for the purpose.. Application must be made within 80 days of the return of the applicant front overseas or discharge from hospital or treatment. The applicant.’s paybook and also form N.Z. (584, posting committee decision, must be produced. y
