American Basketball
With the receipt of further entries during the week for the men and women’s American basketball competition to lie' hold in the Y.M.C.A. every Monday evening, the total number of teams entered lias reached 20. In the men’s games, two 10-minute Rpells with a minute break have been decided upon, while in the women’s games the time has been limited to seven minutes eacli way. ’file games will commence at 7 p.m. and will be played in the order of the draw, which is as follows:—Common, Shelton A v. McKenzies; Police B v. A.T.C.; W.W.S.A, v, Pett.ies: Police A v. Home Guard; Nurses v. Bull and Edwards; Mercantile Men v. Y.M.C.A.; Cash Stores v. Murray, Roberts; Air .Force v. Public Service; Common, Shelton B v. Mercantile Women. Byes: Public Service Women and High School. Men and women’s games will be played alternately.
