The annual cross-country steeplechase for secondary, boys of the Tc ICaraka, District High .School was won by John Chartcris. with I£. Mullooly and B, Taylor second and third respectively. The winner's • time of 18min., 2min. outside the record, showed a good performance in. adverse conditions, the weather being wet and cold.
