OBITUARY
MR. GEORGE DENNES (P.A.) AUCKLAND, this day. The death occurred in a private hospital .to-day of Mr. George Dennes, at the age of 53 years. A lifelong yachtsman, he won the C class heeler championship of the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron in 1914, and also many championship flags, including one in Sydney iri 5938. He was chairman of the Auckland Anniversary regattas in 1939 and 1941, and a past master of the United Services Masonic Lodge. He leaves lis wife and one son. the latter being Lieutenant-Colonel DennCs, Wellington. '
