Air Fatality Near Timaru
An air fatality occurred on Sunday when Mr. Kenneth Walter Cox, aged 27, was killed at Fairview, Timaru. He took up for the first time a single seater aeroplane which he purchased in Christchurch a month ago. The machine did not gain much altitude and was flying down a gully above a creek when it crashed. Mr. Cox, who Was a carpenter by trade and not an experienced pilot, was killed instantly.
