WOMAN’S 13 SETS OF TWINS

JOHANNESBURG, July 7. A coloured man, Gert Fiervlei, who came to register the birth of his fourth son at the Magistrate's Court, Somerset East, Cape of Good Hope, informed the registrar that it was his wife’s thirtieth child. Further inquiry elicited the information that the woman is only 33 years of age and that during her 17 years of married life she has given birth to 13 sets of twins, all girls, and four boys. All the twins died in infancy, but the four boys survive.
