HOGGETS 22/The yarding of store shoep—at the Mata;whero stock sale to-day was not large, and .the greater proportion were hoggets, with nearly the whole-entry from the one station. These comprised more than 700 wether hoggets front the-R. C. Miller estate, the 400. top'd fringing. .225-after-,being-.passed .in;.at 21s 9d, :and,,.tSe. remaining- 315 selling at 20s 10d.., Ewes wit!) 100 per,cent lambs brought up to 24s 6d and ewes in lamb and. with lahibß at foot reached '2ls lOd. Values remained about the same as last week. The -fat sheep'yarding; was -hot.-as . large as last week. Values wei-e maintained.. Fat ewes sold fro hi 205t025K Gdand second quality at 14s 9d. Wethers reached 29s 9d and black-faced hoggets 18s 6d. Only a Small yarding of beef oattle came forward. Two Jersey steers, well finished two-year-olds. sold at £G 15s, a medium Shorthorn eoyw nt , lV’- /e’ Ir l, jight JP.A. cows were passed in at £6 10s. rne pig section attracted only five head.
