Regent.—America’s box-office king ami his girl friend, Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland, return to the screen for the seveutn time together in "Babes on Broadway," now showing at the Regent Theatre. Majestic.—A three-unit programme to-day provides all the ingredients of popular entertainment, action, thrills, mystery, romance, and comedy, “The Mad Doctor of Market Street,” is a mystery thriller starring Lionel Atwell. “Tillie the Toiler,” is a comedy starring Kay Harris, and “Gang Busters,’’ a new serial starring Kent Taylor and Irene Harvey. An added attraction for to-morrow’s matinee will be the opening chapter of "Jungle Girl.” King’s.—Sparkling with a brilliance and originality that makes it a notable addition to the season’s mystery offering, "The Falcon takes over,” produced by R.K.O. on a lavish scale, is opening at the King’s Theatre to-day. George Sanders, direct from his triumphs in "Sundown,” once more plays the title role of the Michael Arlen’s suave amateur detective, "The Falcon.” Lynn Bari gives a magnificent performance as a go-getter newspaper woman.
