Mr. and Mrs. S. Cross are on a holiday visit to Wairoa as the guest of the latter's parents. Mr. and Mrs. T. S. Crarer, Marine parade.—Mr. P. J. O. . Skoglund, No. 2 Transport Licensing Authority, passed through Wairoa on Tuesday on his way to Wellington.—Miss L. Law and Mr. J. Allan, who are to be married shortly, were guests of honour at a “kitchen” evening arranged by a number of North Clyde friends at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. J. Botica. —Miss Betty Signall, whose marriage takes place shortly, has been the guest of honour at several social gatherings. Hostesses have been Mesdames H. L. Harker, G. M. O'Malley, Trafford, Javdine, McCrea, Pinel, Glengarry, S. J. Davys, Petchell, and McCorkindale.
