CRASH ON HOSTEL
NAZI BOMBING PLANE PHOSPHOROUS-BOMB (2 " m.j LONDON, Aug. 10. Eighteen wardens received burns when a Ileinkel last night crashed on a south coast hostel, setting fire to neighbouring buildings with a load of phosphorus bombs. The Ileinkel’s crew of five were burned to death. .Nearby streets were strewn with ammunition from the plane. Several other civil defence personnel were treated in hospital for burns after touching parts of the plane which was covered with phosphorus.
