ANOTHER STATE PROJECT
Another Government project for large-scale housing development in the rural area of Tamaki came before .he Auckland City Council last week, when the Department of Housing Construction asked for approval of a proposed subdivision of the Pilkington estate, comprising 94 acres. After onsidering reports by the city engineer, Mr. J. Tyler, and the TownPlanning Committee, the council deferred consideration of the matter.
