RECORD SHIPBUILDING
VESSEL IN 75 DAYS , CALIFORNIA YARDS (3 p.m.) NEW YORK, July 1. A report from San Pedro, Califorhia, says that the cargo ship Joseph McKenna, which was commissioned today, broke all previous records. She was launched 57 days after the keel was laid and fitted out in 18 days after being launched. The California yards now have completed 35 ships in ah' amazingly short time.
