PLANE ACCIDENTS IN U.S.A.
(9 a.m.) NEW YORK, July 2. At least 30 army men were killed in two aeroplane accidents when former commercial transports on an army mission crashed near Welch, West Virginia. In addition, nine men were killed in a crash of a Consolidated bomber in California.
