PORTFOLIOS APPROVED (British Official Wireless.) (10.30 a.m.) RUGBY, July 1. The King has approved of the appointment of Lord Portal as Minister of Works and Planning and also Mr. George Hicks and Mr. H. G. Strauss as joint Parliamentary secretaries, of the same Ministry. Lord Portal Will continue as First Commissioner of Works and Public Buildings.
