Pursuant to Section 120 of the “Counties Act, 1920,” and Sections 51 to 59 of the “Rating Act, 1925,” and Amendments thereto, Notice is hereby given that the Waiapu County Council will at the Ordinary Meeting of Council to be held in the Council Chambers, To Puia Springs, on Tuesday, 21st July, 1942, make and levy a General Rate of 3d. in the £1 upon the Capital Value of all Rateable property within the County of Waiapu. This Rate is to cover Administration, Hospital Levy, General Maintenance and Construction, Interest and Charges on County Loans. Such rate is for the period commencing on the Ist day of April, 1942, and ending on 31st day of March, 1943, and will be due and payable in one sum on the Ist day of September, 1942, at the Office of the County, Te Puia Springs. The Valuation Rolls of the County are open for inspection, without fee, by all Ratepayers, at the County Office, Te Puia ordinary office hours.
