SIGNALLER KILLED
COLLISION WITH TRUCK ACCIDENT ON BRIDGE (P.A.) AUCKLAND, this day. An army signaller was killed yesterday morning when the motorcycle he was riding was involved in a collision with an army truck on the Warkworth-Kaipara Flats road. He was Signalman E. Dainty, whose family live at Mount Eden. ’ The truck was .travelling from Kaipara and ,the motor-cycle was going in the opposite direction. Both approached a one-way bridge at the same time and it is" understood the truck slowed down to allow the cyclist to pass over first. While crossing the bridge, the cyclist lost his balance and collided with the truck.
