FORCED DOWN AT SEA
DOMINION FLIERS’ FATE VERDICT AT INQUEST (P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. A verdict that the crew met their deaths when a Royal New Zealand Air Force aircraft, which had been missing since March 28, got into difficulties and was forced down or flew into the sea, was returned by the coroner, Mr. E. C. Levvey, S.M. The members of the crew were Verdun Arthur Godfrey. of Hastings, Cecil Harold Cook, of Wellington, and Donald Alexander Paterson, of Atickland,
