NUHAKA DAIRY FACTORY
The Nuhaka dairy factory’s grading for the season which closed on June 15 showed a total output of 200 tons of cheese, against 164 tons last year. The average grade for the season was 92.208, against 91.634 last year. The grading of crates put out was: Finest grade, 552 tons; first grade, 1733 tons; second grade, 10 tons. The previous year it was: Finest, nil; first, 1893 tons; second grade, 43 tons. The average grade for New Zealand is 92.048, against 91.839 last year, showing that the Nuhaka factory is .160 above the average grade. This speaks well for the work of the manager and stall and also for the quality of the milk of the suppliers.
