ROOSEVELT'S BIRTHDAY (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 2 p.m. RUGBY. Jan. 30The King and Queen sent a personal message ol congratulation to President Roosevelt who to-day is celebrating his sixtieth birthday. A special programme of greetings to President Roosevelt will be given in the 8.8. C. programme when M. F. Drexel-Biddle, United States Ambassador to the Allied Governments in Britain will introduce the following nine allied speakers: A Polish musican, a Dutch professor, a Belgian schoolmaster now serving in the Belgian Army, a Czech lawyer, who has also farmed the land, a French girl, now serving with Les Filles de I’Air, a Norwegian soldier from the Lofoten Islands, a Greek merchant seaman, a Yugoslav soldier, and an Englishwoman who was an A.R.P. warden in Dover.
