ALL POLICE ON DUTY
Following instructions affecting the police force throughout the Dominion, all leave for police in the Gisborne district has been stopped.
In most parts of the Dominion, police officers on leave were able to resume duty by yesterday or to-day, while others at distances from their stations were returning immediately.
