AIR TRIP CANCELLED
CABINET MINISTERS RAILWAY FUNCTION (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. P. Eraser, and the Minister of Public Works, the Hon. H. T. Armstrong, were to have flown from Wellington to Westport yesterday morning to take part in the ceremony of driving the last spike in the construction of the Buffer Gorge railway, but owing to bad weather between Wellington and the West Coast the trip was cancelled.
