DESTROYED BY FIRE
OLD SCOTTISH CASTLE (Reed. Dec. 3, 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 2. The 800-year-old Loudoun Castle. Ayrshire, where the treaty of union with England was signed in 1707, was almost destroyed by fire which broke out in the early hours of the morning and raged for 10 hours.
