NEW ZEALAND OFFICERS (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The annual meeting of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association was held on Saturday. The junior and women’s championships for 1943 were allocated to Otago, and in .1942 are to be held in Hawke’s Bay. Provision is to be made in the rules for the establishment of New Zealand records in individual attempts against time, distance, or height. The following officers were elected:*— Patron, the Governor-General, Sir Cyril Newall; president, Mr. Austad ; chairman of the management committee, Mr. Kitto; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr. McCormick; administration committee, the president, chairman, secretary* and Mr. J. W. Holley; finance committee, Messrs. Austad, Woodfeld and Leeder; reinstatement committee, Messrs. Stevens, Gasson and Holley; records committee, Messrs. Leeder, Walker and MacPherson; delegates to the New Zealand Olympic Association, Messrs. Austad, Gasson and Leeder; representative in Olympic Association executive, Mr. Austad.
