MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE
AMERICAN BOXERS ABRAMS MEETING ZALE (Reed. Nov. 29, 1 p.m.) NEW IORK, Nov. 28. The muddle that has characterised the championship middleweight division for a decade will be cleared up to-night, when Georgie Abrams opposed Tony Zale in a 15round contest at Madison Square Garden. Zale is recognised as champion by the National Boxing Association, while Abramß is the New York State Athletic Commission’s nominee as leading challenger. Both the New York Commission and the National Boxing Association will recognise to-night,’s winner as the champion of the middleweight division.
