Opinion of Nazis Vindicated
In 1934 an opportunity was afforded Dr. W. A. Riddell, High Commissioner for Canada, to study many of the German Nazi leaders while engaged ir: international conferences connected with the League of Nations, and lie told Hastings business people that the opinion he formed of them had in no way been changed and indeed had been vindicated. “They’re meu who will wade through slaughter to a throne without the slightest hesitation,” he declared.
