The current issue of the New Zealand Gazette carries the following notices of district interest: — Major (temp. Lieutenant-Colonel) A. S. Muir, 0.8. E., E.D., Central Infantry, relinquishes the temporary rank of lieutenant-colonel. Lieutenant H. G. Witters, 25th Wellington Battalion, to be captain. Appointment to Commission. — Trevor Norman Bright to be a secondlieutenant.
