The first of a’‘series of. euchre parties in aid of the patriotic funds was held in the Kaitaratahi Hall this week, there being a good attendance of players. After the games supper was enjoyed. Mrs. D.. Craill has returned after an enjoyable trip, through the North Island.—Mr. and Mrs. T. Hyde and Miss L. Armstrong are visiting Napier.
