KAITARATAHI NEWS

The first of a’‘series of. euchre parties in aid of the patriotic funds was held in the Kaitaratahi Hall this week, there being a good attendance of players. After the games supper was enjoyed. The winners of the games were: Ladies. —Mrs. A. McLennen, 1, Mrs. L. Crosswell, 2. Gentlemen. —Mr. G. Croon, 1, Mr. C. Gordon. 2. Among those present were: Mesdames J. Lucas, J. Figg,
S. Binnie, G. Croon, .T. Mullooly, J. Atkins, L. Cijoswell, N. Wilton, B. Joel, and A. McLennen; Misses Lovelock and Croon.
Mrs. D.. Craill has returned after an enjoyable trip, through the North Island.—Mr. and Mrs. T. Hyde and Miss L. Armstrong are visiting Napier.
