OFFICERS APPOINTED
EXPEDITIONARY FORCE (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. New Zealand Expeditionary Force appointments gazetted include the following: Colonel K. L. Stewart relinquishes the appointment of General Staff Officer, First Grade, Second New Zealand Division, on being placed on the New Zealand roll. He is succeeded by LieutenantColonel W. G. Gentry. Major S. F. Hartnell appointed to command the Nineteenth (Wellington) Battalion vice LieutenantColonel F. S. Varnham, who is placed on the New Zealand Roll. Major (Temporary LieutenantColonel) D. T. Maxwell, appointed Assistant Adjutant and Quarter-master-General, Second New Zealand Division. Major (Temporary LieutenantColonel) S. M. Satterthwaite appointed General Staff Officer (Staff Duties). The appointment is gazetted of Lieutenant-Colonel L. G. Goss (New Zealand Staff Corps), to the New Zealand Armoured Corps, First (New Zealand) Army Tank Brigade.
