PRESIDENT CHOSEN
CATHOLIC SOCIETY (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. With the approval of Archbishop o’Shea, Mr, David J. Leahy, Wellington, has been appointed president of the New Zealand superior council ol' the St. Vincent De Paul Society in place of the late Mr. P. D. Hoskins. Mr. Leahy has been a member of the superior council since its inception. He has taken a prominent part in Catholic affairs in New Zealand and is a prominent member of the national eucharistic congress executive. ' 1
