INDIES’ HOME GUARD
N.Z. OFFICER IMPRESSED (Reed. Nov. 27, 10 a.m.) .SYDNEY, Nov. 27. Major Harper, of the New Zealand Internal Affairs Department, has arrived by air from the Middle East and will spend a fortnight in Australia. He will visit Canberra and Melbourne to confer with Government officials on educational matters affecting Australia and New Zealand. He said he was very impressed with the activities of the Home Guard in the Dutch East Indies on which he will have much to say upon his return to the Dominion.
