MR. DUFF COOPER’S TOUR N.Z. WAR EFFORT PRAISED (Reed. Nov. 27, 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, Nov. 27. The British Cabinet representative in the Far East, Mr. A. Duff Cooper, has returned from New Zealand with his wife, Lady Diana Duff Cooper. He said he liked New Zealand, had a very good time and would have liked to have seen more of the country. He had only one free day. He was very impressed with the Dominion’s war effort and conscription, he added, appeared to be working well. The interview was cut short owing to his being quickly driven away for lunch at Government House.
