PENSIONS SCHEME
WORKLESS INSURANCE AUSTRALIAN PROPOSALS (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Preßß Assn.) (Reed. Nov. 26, 9 a.m. MELBOURNE, Nov. 25. The Federal Government intends to introduce a scheme of pensions for widows, unemployment insurance and a planning authority for housing as soon as possible after Parliament meets in the New Year. In announcing this, the Minister of Health ?nd Social Services, Mr. E. J. Holloway said that widows’ pensions would be on the same basis as old age and invalid pensions.
