MEMORANDA
An innovation which should appeal to motorists is announced by the Railways Department. As from December 1, motor cars which are transported by .rail on the outward journey at ordinary freight rates will, within a period of three months thereafter, be conveyed free of charge on the return journey to the home station, provided that two adult passengers (or equivalent) hold rail tickets for the same journeys as made by the car.
