STILL NO TRACE
MISSING AIRCRAFT AIR SEARCH GOES ON (Per Preßß Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Despite an extensive search no trace has been found of the New Zealand Air Force aircraft reported missing on Thursday during a cross-country flight from Ohakea to Opunake and return. A search is being maintained by aircraft of the Royal New Zealand Air Force. The occupants of the missing aircraft are Leading Aircraftman Charles William Baker and Leading aircraftman Winston Stanley Cannell.
