CLIPPER SERVICE

TOOK 52 PASSENGERS ROOM FOR SIX MORE (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. With 52 passengers and a crew of 12 on board, the California Clipper left Auckland at 4.30 o’clock yesterday morning on the return flight to San Francisco. In addition to 64 persons aboard, the Clipper carried 9601 b. of mail and 5261 b. of freight. The Clipper’s load was within 13501 b. of its maximum for such a flight. Mr. P. S. Delany, district sales manager of Pan-American Airways at Auckland, said it would have been possible to carry another six passengers, making a total complement of 70.

Arrving ,at Noumea at 11.59 a.m., New Zealand time, the Clipper left there at 1.11 p.m. and arrived at Suva at 6.32 p.m. She is continuing the flight from Suva to-day.
