NAZI “NEW ORDER”
CONFERENCE PLANNED EUROPEAN STATES BRITAIN EXCLUDED (Elcc. Tel. Copyright—Unitwl Press Assn.) (Reed. Nov. 25, 9 a.m.) WASHINGTON. Nov. 24. President Roosevelt’s secretary, Mr. Stephen Early, announced that President Roosevelt had received confirmation through diplomatic channels that Germany is planning a pan-European conference within a month or so. He said that advices from Germany indicated that a conference is being arranged by the Reich. “The idea is to dress up some highsounding formula for economic rehabilitation and the restoration of the independence of all European nations, leaving the door open for German violation later and German control of all these Governments in practice.” he •said. Feelers were being sent to all the Axis Powers, some belligerents an<J some neutrais, but England would be excluded. Mr. Early added: “The conference should be discounted in advance by people believing in democracy and opposing military domination, not only of Europe hut of the entire world.”
