RAIDS OVER FRANCE

“HURRY” BOMBERS’ LOAD ROUND TRIP IN HOUR (Reed. Nov. 25, 10.20 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 24. Referring to to-day’s attacks on Northern France by the Fighter Command, the aeronautical correspondent of the Daily Telegraph says that Hurricane bomb-carriers carry a 5001 b. bomb load which takes only a few minutes, to load. The round trip to France and back occupied less than an hour. The bomb load does not appreciably reduce the speed and the fire-power is unaffected. “Hurry” bombers are capable of fighting when loaded with bombs.
